The largest desalination plant in Gaza Strip, which is under the European Union and the UN’s children’s agency, is operating at its “very minimal capacity”, the Unicef has said as the area runs out of fuel supplies.

“We urgently need fuel to keep it going,” it said while noting that some one million children lack access to safe water.
