China has voiced its support for the creation of an “independent State of Palestine that enjoys full sovereignty based on the 1967 boundary and with East Jerusalem as its capital”

Addressing a briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said, “China will continue to work with the international community and make unremitting efforts towards that end.”
