Hamas has claimed to have killed Israeli soldiers and destroyed 12 Israeli military vehicles, including six tanks, in recent Gaza clashes, Al-Aqsa TV reports.

The group’s armed wing, the Qassam Brigades, said its fighters had engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces during which several soldiers were killed.

The Palestinian group said it had destroyed three Israeli tanks by anti-armour shells in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, two in Tel al-Hawa south of Gaza City, and one more northwest of Gaza City.
