United Nations chief Antonio Guterres has said that he is horrified over the attack in Gaza on an ambulance convoy outside Al Shifa Hospital.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he also called for the immediate release of hostages held in Gaza.

“I do not forget the terror attacks committed in Israel by Hamas and the killing, maiming, and abductions, including of women and children,” the UN secretary-general added.
