All I smelled and saw was blood: Gaza journalist recalls scenes after Israel striked ambulance convoy
Hind Khoudary, a journalist in Gaza, tells Al Jazeera that after an Israeli strike hit a convoy of ambulances, the “biggest shock” for her was entering the emergency department of Al-Shifa Hospital.
“Hundreds and hundreds of bodies, injured bodies, were on the floor without any stretchers, without any doctors.
“All I smelled and saw was blood — covering people’s faces, covering people’s bodies — everyone screaming.”
