Honduras recalled its ambassador to Israel on Friday for consultations due to Israel’s ongoing attacks in Gaza Strip, Anadolu Agency has reported.

Foreign Minister Enrique Reina wrote on X that Roberto Martinez was summoned, considering the “serious humanitarian conditions” faced by the Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza strip.

The move makes Honduras the fourth Latin American country to take action in protest of Israel’s bombarding of Gaza, after Bolivia, Colombia and Chile.
