The Israeli air force is bringing less than half of its capabilities, military chief Lieutenant-General Herzi Halevi said in a televised statement.

According to AFP, the remarks appeared designed to signal readiness to escalate attacks on Hamas, and against the Palestinian faction’s allies in Lebanon and elsewhere, if Israel deems that necessary.
