Former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif has highlighted the efforts of journalists in Gaza, recalling that more than 30 of them have been killed in Israeli strikes during the current escalation.

“These brave journalists who bring information to us from conflict zones embody the essence of service to journalism and humanity.

“They have our deep and abiding respect,” he added.
