Israeli warplanes have attacked a UNRWA-run school in the Shati refugee camp in Gaza, according to Al Jazeera.

Thousands of displaced people in Gaza are currently taking shelter in the school. The attacks come after five Palestinians were killed in an earlier raid targeting areas around that school.

Footage posted by local media showed white plumes of “white phosphorus” in the grounds of the school as Palestinians attempted to douse it.
