UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned Israel’s air strikes on the Jabalia refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, his spokesman has said, AFP reports.

“The secretary-general is appalled over the escalating violence in Gaza, including the killing of Palestinians, including women and children in Israeli airstrikes in residential areas of the densely populated Jabalia refugee camp,” spokesman Stephane Dujarric has said.
