Israeli soldier arrested for shooting Palestinian man in occupied West Bank: report
The Israeli Military Police has arrested an IDF soldier suspected of shooting a Palestinian man who was harvesting olives in the area of Nablus last week, Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports.
According to the report, the soldier, who was on leave from the army, is suspected of shooting Bilal Salah, a 40-year-old man, in his chest.
The soldier’s defence attorney from the pro-settler Honenu organisation, Adi Kedar, claimed that the soldier felt his life was in danger after he and his family were attacked.
