The Israeli military has said its fighter jets overnight struck a Hamas leader who allegedly “took part in planning” the October 7 surprise attack and “commanded the terrorists who infiltrated Israel on paragliders”.

The forces identified the leader as Asem Abu Rakaba, the Head of the group’s Aerial Array.
