Palestinian Journalists Syndicate ‘deeply concerned’, urges UN to intervene
The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) has expressed “deep concern” for fellow journalists in Gaza amid the blackout on all communications.
In a statement on Facebook, it said, “The PJS sees this step as a prelude to new massacres to be committed by the occupation forces away from the cameras of journalists and their reliable and correct narrative.”
Holding the Israeli authorities as “fully responsible” for the lives of media workers, it urged the United Nations and other human rights entities to “immediately intervene and stop the war of genocide in Gaza”.
