KHAIRPUR, Feb 12: An alleged bandit was shot dead and his accomplices arrested during an alleged encounter with police in Chhatan Shah village in Kingri taluka here on Sunday.

Niaz Maitlo was killed while one of his accomplices, identified as Aijaz Junejo, was arrested. Police also recovered a Kalashnikov with 200 rounds from them.—BoC
