Safwat Al-Kahlout, Al Jazeera correspondent in Gaza, has said the Israeli army is carrying our limited operations in the North, East, and Gaza City.

“It looks like preparations are underway for a wider operation,” he said, adding that flashes of Israeli artillery and strikes could be seen in the Gaza City and the eastern side of the enclave.
