One internally displaced person was killed and 44 others were injured in a close proximity strike on a school in Rafah, according to a statement from the United Nations Palestinian refugee agency in Gaza.

The agency said the school was sheltering 4,600 people and sustained severe collateral damage, Reuters reports.
