JI emir Sirajul Haq has held the US “equally responsible” for the relentless bombardment and worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

“America announced to support Israel immediately after Oct 7 and sent their foreign minister to Tel Aviv thrice. After that, Biden himself went [to Israel] and at this moment America is the country providing the most military support to Israel,” he said in a media talk in Lahore.

“This is open terrorism from America,” Siraj stated, recalling how the US had vetoed the UN Security Council’s call for a humanitarian pause in the Israel-Palestine situation.

He went on to say that staying silent in the current circumstances was nothing but standing with Israel.
