Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has decided to convene a session of the upper house of Parliament for this week to discuss the prevailing situation in Gaza.

According to an official statement issued, the session is being convened in response to letters from Leader of the House Ishaq Dar and Balochistan Awami Party parliamentary leader Senator Manzoor Kakar.
