Following the first entry of aid into the Gaza Strip since Israel imposed a “total blockade”, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said that the people of Gaza “need a commitment for much more”.

He said, “The people of Gaza need a commitment for much more — a continuous delivery of aid at the scale that is needed.

“We are working nonstop with all relevant parties to make it happen,” he added.
