Sky News has corrected its earlier reporting, “recognising” that Palestinian Ambassador to the UK Dr Husam Zomlot had not said “Israel had it coming” in reference to the October 7 Hamas offensive.

It also said it accepted that the reporting “gave a potentially misleading representation of Dr Zomlot’s views”.

Later, the ambassador called on the international media to be “accurate and responsible” in their reporting.
