The United Nations (UN) has said that at least 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza are facing unbearable circumstances including the lack of food, water, safe delivery services, and lifesaving medical supplies.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the intergovernmental organisation said the UN Population Fund is working with partners to continue supporting reproductive health services amid the destruction.
