The Gaza health ministry has said 18 Palestinians were killed in Israeli air strikes on the Jabalia refugee camp in the Palestinian enclave.

According to the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees, the camp is home to just more than 116,000 registered people and is located close to the Gaza-Israel border crossing.
