UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says he has met Israeli President Isaac Herzog and they both agreed on the “importance of getting urgent humanitarian support to ordinary Palestinians”.

He said he conveyed his “gratitude for the support provided to British nationals caught up in the terror attacks”, referring to the Oct 7 surprise offensive by Hamas.
