KARACHI: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has decided to sell its 12 surplus immovable assets in nine cities to strengthen its financial health and service capacity, said a press release issued here on Thursday.

It said that required approvals had been accorded for the planned sale of the company’s properties in Attock, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Kasur, Multan, Okara, Sadiqabad and Sialkot.

The statement added that the funds generated from these properties would be allocated to the expansion of PTCL network and IT infrastructure.
