HYDERABAD, Feb 7: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jameel has constituted a seven-member committee headed by Naib Nazim Zaffar Rajput to work out a development plan for Hyderabad taluka (rural).
The nazim assured that more than due share of development fund would be made available to develop ignored rural areas of the district.
He stated this at a meeting of taluka and UC Nazims of the taluka Hyderabad rural at his office.
DCO Mohammad Hussain Syed and other officers were also present in the meeting.
The district nazim nominated Rural Taluka Nazim Khanwad Bux Jahejo, Naib Nazim Mir Khan Talpur, UC Nazim Mohammad Thebo, UC Nazim Iqbal Panhwar and EDO works and services Haleem Ghouri as members of the committee.
He said the development committee would be authorized to identify and monitor execution of development schemes of the taluka and their recommendations for identification, execution and removal of bottlenecks if any would be implemented in letter and spirit.
He asked the members of the committee to sit together with data collection and recommend their schemes in such a way so that optimum utilization of development funds could be ensured.
He advised them to verify their previous proposed schemes that might be included in the ADP or other development programme to avoid duplication and save money for other schemes.
