LAHORE, Feb 4: State Education Minister Ghulam Bibi Bharwana has said the committee on curricula will present its recommendations within few days. Talking to journalists at the annual exhibition of the College of Home Economics here on Saturday, she said negative propaganda was being spread on curricula issue.

“We are not making any major changes in syllabus and accommodating topics related to practical life, so that our younger generation can efficiently cope with the challenges ahead,” she added.

She said education-specific NGOs were playing their due role. The minister lauded the work of the post-graduate students’ 2005 session in Related Arts, Housing, Home Management and Interior Designing; Food and Nutrition, Clothing and Textile, Child Guidance and Research.—APP
