ISLAMABAD, Jan 30: The National Assembly was on Monday informed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) earned Rs567,579,991 in the financial year 2004-05.
The Minister of Sports Muhammad Ajmal Khan stated this in a written reply to Sabir Hussain Awan.
The amount includes money earned through tours abroad and within Pakistan, television rights and sponsorships.
The following is the break-up of PCB’s income for the last three years:
Tours outside Pakistan 2002-03 (participation fee 511,575,487); 2003-04 (492,633); 2004-05 (318,610,999)
Tours inside Pakistan 2002-03 (television rights 92,643,468, gate money 1,360,521, sponsorship fee 4,944,840, advertisement 1,745, 311)

Meanwhile responding to Mrs Fauzia Wahab’s question on PCB’s total budget for the financial year 2005-06, the minister provided the following figures:
