T.M. Khan budget

HYDERABAD, Jan 28: Tando Mohammad Khan District Nazim Mir Inayat Ali Talpur on Friday presented a Rs633.023 million budget of the district at the district council, showing a surplus of Rs46.923 million.

According to details, the Sindh government is expected to provide Rs569.014 million and income from the district council’s own resources is estimated at Rs64.009 million.

On the side of non-development expenditure, Rs381.519 million has been allocated for salaries and Rs63.759 million for office expenses.

On the development side, Rs32.572 million will be spent on ongoing development schemes, Rs47.571 million has been earmarked for new schemes, Rs15.857 million for Citizens Community Board schemes and Rs30 million for the district development fund.
