GUJRAT: Caretaker Punjab Minister for Health Dr Javed Akram announced awards for the best graduates of the Nawaz Sharif Medical College, Gujrat, and promised establishment of an auditorium and a cafeteria for the students.

He made these remarks after inaugurating the academic block in the NSMC and also chaired a meeting related to the affairs of college on Saturday.

Earlier the minister chaired NSMC’s academic council meeting at the Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital where the medical superintendent of the hospital presented a detailed briefing. The minister inaugurated the extension block of the trauma center of the hospital.
