“This is a small contribution taken out of Canada funds designed for worthwhile causes and local initiatives. We are very happy to help the school buy new equipment for children with special needs which is a huge requirement and not properly fulfilled,” said the ambassador.
Noori Hashwani on the occasion said, “A new building is under construction for the children who are mentally and physically challenged. We need all the help we can get.”
Principal and speech therapist, Umeed-e-Noor school, Gulnar Sultana has a 21 years experience behind her and she said that the school had more than 80 children. The new equipment would help improve condition of the children.
