Bankers struggle

LAHORE, Jan 17: Habib Bank were in danger of conceding first innings after stumbling to 138 for six lead against PTCL on the third day of Patron’s Trophy Grade-I quadrangular round match at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

The bankers’ hopes are now pinned on former Test wicket-keeper Humayun Farhat as they chase PTCL’s total of 271.

Meanwhile, there was action for the third day running in the match between National Bank and PIA at Rawalpindi’s KRL Stadium because of inclement weather.
