LAHORE, Jan 15: A policeman running a gang allegedly involved in money extortion was arrested along with his accomplice on Sunday. On receiving complaints, SP Omar Farooq set up a team which followed some clues and caught red-handed a constable, Tanvir, posted at Ghazi Company.

The constable, along Gul Zaman, who was impersonating as police, were trying to extort money from Ashraf.

The arrested men have confessed to 10 such crimes. — Staff Reporter
