PESHAWAR, Jan 14: A man, charged with the murder of his wife, was remanded to police custody for two days by a judicial magistrate here on Saturday. Accused Waliur Rehman was arrested by the Mathra police on a complaint lodged by Shamsher Khan, grandfather of deceased Shahzari.

The accused suspected she had an affair with his brother. The couple was married three months ago.

Police produced the accused before the court of Judicial Magistrate Malik Amjad Raheem and requested that they needed physical custody of the accused for investigation. The court granted two-day custody.
