LAHORE, Jan 5: Sacrificial animals have started arriving in the city in large numbers but sales are not picking up due to high prices being demanded by traders. The city district government has specified nine spots for the sale of animals. The animals, however, are being sold in all parts of the city. Traders with two or three animals or small herds are seen roaming in different parts of the city.

The sales are not picking up because the traders are demanding high prices. Customers are not in a hurry to buy the animals either because of the price factor and extreme weather.— Reporter
