LAHORE, Jan 5: Lower Mall police on Thursday registered a case against 15 under-trial prisoners on charges of attempting to escape from Lahore district courts lock-ups. The police said some 200 prisoners had been brought to the courts for appearance in their cases. They added some of the prisoners got a chance to unlock the lock-ups and also instigated the other inmates.

However, the police surrounded the courts and managed to take back all the prisoners in lock-ups. Further investigation is under way.
