GUJRANWALA, Jan 5: Wasa employees have threatened to suspend the disposal work and water supply pumps if their salaries are not disbursed before Eidul Azha. At a meeting held here on Thursday presided over by Ittehad Union president Nasiruddin Humayun Malik, the participants criticized the Wasa administration over making delay every month in disbursing of their salaries.
They demanded that their salaries should be paid to them on the first day of every month regularly.

This was stated by prime minister’s adviser Ms Neelofer Bukhtiar while speaking at a seminar here on Thursday.
She urged the women to come forward to play their role in the progress and prosperity of the country.
Federal women development secretary Sohail Safder said that the Women Bank had provided soft-term loans to around 33,000 women of remote areas in Gujranwala and Sheikhupura.
Women Bank president Ms Zarin Nazir said that a fund of Rs110 million had been established for the women development.
