KARACHI, Jan 4: Army sharp shooters enjoyed a great third day in the 15th National shooting championship by grabbing four golds at Naval Shooting Range on Wednesday.

Major Idrees Rasheed captured the Free Pistol with 529/600 and also spearheaded his team to secure gold with Sajid Iqbal and Muhammad Sharif by mustering 1527/1800.

Irshad Ali, Cdr. Ghaznffar and Tariq Manzoor bagged silver with 1526/1800 and M.Younus, Nisar and K.Zaman helped PIA bronze with 1509/1800.

Muhammad Ilyas from Army took the Air Rifle gold with 577/600 after final shot of 100.3 with Dawood Jan, who got silver with 98.9.

Navy, however, with nine golds, five silver and five bronze were placed first, Army with four gold, seven silver and four bronze were placed second and Sindh were placed third with one gold and one silver.
