DAWN was the official print media sponsor for the 5th Karafilm Festival - the international film festival which was held in Karachi from Dec 1-11, 2005, screening 150 features, documentaries and shorts from over 30 countries, including India, Iran, Italy, UK, USA, France, Germany, etc.

The Karafilm Festival is on tour to Lahore and will screen some of the award winning films like Iqbal, Mein Ne Gandhi Ko Nahin Maara, Gilaneh, Before I Go, and will move on to Islamabad on Jan 7 and 8.
