MIRAMSHAH, Dec 27: Harmaz Dawar tribe has warned to block the Miramshah-Bannu road if a kidnapped journalist was not recovered in the next 48 hours. The warning came after a Jirga was held at the residence of the kidnapped journalist, Mr Hayatullah, here on Monday.

Local elders, including Maulana Ajab Khan, Maulana Sharifullah and Maulvi Afsar Ali, expressed their concern over the government’s failure to recover Mr Hayatullah after 20 days.

They accused the local administration of apathy and said that the government would be responsible for the consequences of their action if the journalist was not recovered within the stipulated time.
