ISLAMABAD: Indonesian deputy minister for tourism and economic creativity has emphasised the need for direct flights to promote tourism in Indonesia and Pakistan.
Ni Made Ayu Marthini said tourism and trade were vital sectors in which the two nations can benefit from mutual cooperation.
Ms Marthini said Indonesia was improving the tourism sector by implementing short-, medium- and long-term projects.
She said there are many beautiful places in Indonesia for Pakistani tourists and they will always be welcomed by the government, she added.
