BAHAWALNAGAR: The McLeod Ganj police arrested a man for raping a teenage girl in Basti Akkanwali.

According to the FIR, the suspect barged into the house of a labourer and raped his 15-year-old daughter when she was alone at home. Some passersby, hearing the hue and cry of the girl, rescued her. The man, however, escaped. Later the police arrested the suspect.

The girl was shifted to the hospital for medicolegal formalities.
