KOHAT, Dec 26: A woman was killed by her ex-husband in Shakardarra town, while a councillor allegedly murdered a man in Togh Bala here on Monday.

The alleged killer, Zafarullah, had divorced Yasmeen Bibi some time back, but he used to threaten her with consequences, police quoted Yasmeen’s mother as having said.

One Laiq Shah was killed allegedly by councillor Riaz, according to a report lodged by the wife of the victim at Saddar police station here. The accused escaped.
