PESHAWAR, Dec 24: The Jamaat-i-Islami has expressed its dismay over the government’s move to exclude the way to perform Namaz from the syllabus. According to a press release issued here on Saturday, Qari Abdul Hadi, Jamaat’s general secretary from PF-2, alleged that the government had taken this un-Islamic step to serve a European agenda.

He said the government had also excluded Jihad from the syllabus, adding that these steps showed that Pakistan had become a US puppet.

The government, he said, had promoted terrorism by implementing western values.

He said the government had committed a blunder by ignoring the main difference over Namaz between Muslims and non-Muslims. The federal education minister was making people more anger by issuing controversial statements, he added.

The government, he suggested, should have incorporated more Islamic teachings instead of implementing un-Islamic values.
