Pakistan to assist BD industry

DHAKA, Jan 29: Pakistan will help with the industrialisation of Bangladesh, including in the textile and fertiliser sectors of the former East Pakistan, a visiting Pakistani minister said Tuesday.

“We have restructured a lot in those sectors to become globally competitive,” said Pakistani Commerce and Industries Minister Abdul Razak Dawood, who is leading a 29-member trade team here.—AFP
