Over 6,800 appear in Etea entry test

PESHAWAR: Over 6,800 candidates appeared in the entry test for admissions in public and private sector engineering universities and colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the academic session 2022-23.

The test was conducted simultaneously in Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad, Swat, Malakand, Kohat, and DI Khan by the Educational Testing and Evaluating Agency (Etea) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

The candidates belonged to KP, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, according to a statement issued here.

The results will be announced today (Monday) and will be available on Etea website (www.etea.edu.pk).

Vice-Chancellor, University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Prof Iftikhar Hussain, visited the

centre in Peshawar, and appreciated the efforts of Etea for smooth conduct of the test.

He thanked minister for higher education Kamran Bangash for reducing registration fee for entrance test from Rs2,500 to Rs500.
