QUETTA: The Balochistan government has decided to arrange a training programme for the staff of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority by Rescue 1122 Punjab.

According to provincial government’s spokesperson Farah Azeem Shah, the move is aimed at providing an opportunity to members of the PDMA Balochistan to learn modern techniques of conducting rescue operations from Rescue 1122 Punjab so that they could play an effective role in the events of natural disasters, such as rain, floods and earthquakes.
