LAHORE, Dec 10: The Commission for Peace and Human Development has urged the government to take steps for curbing the growing religious intolerance in the country. In a statement issued on the Human Rights Day here on Saturday, it said burning of churches and attacks on the houses of Christians at Sangla in the recent past was indicative of the alarming increase in religious extremism in society requiring long and short term measures for controlling the menace.
