Medical camp held for villagers

LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 9: District Nazim Humayun Saifullah Khan on Friday inaugurated a free medical camp in the basic health unit (BHU) Abdulkhel, a remote village of Lakki Marwat. The camp was held jointly by the Community Uplift Programme (an NGO), district health department and the district implementation unit of Barani area development project to provide facilities to the people of far-flung villages.

Many villagers from Abdulkhel, Jhangkhel and other places visited the camp and consulted doctors.

District Government City Hospital Medical Superintendent Capt (retd) Dr Hidayatullah Khan briefed the district nazim about the medical facilities being extended to patients in the camp.

The district nazim directed the quarters concerned to make proper arrangements for holding such free medical camps in all the rural areas of the district.
