HARIPUR, Dec 8: Two women and a man were killed and 14 others injured, nine of them seriously, when a Rawalpindi-bound coach smashed into a roadside tree near Jamu village in the Ghazi area on Thursday. The accident occurred when the coach driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to save a cyclist, police said.
Those killed included the cyclist, Mobeen Khan, and women passengers Afshan Saeed and Nafeesa Saeed.
Those injured were taken to Attock and Rawalpindi hospitals where nine of them were said to be in critical condition.
