Four promoted to BPS-21

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Friday promoted four senior officers of the provincial cadre to BPS-21.

A notification issued from the establishment department said on the recommendation of the provincial selection board, four officers of the Provincial Civil Service (PCS) had been promoted to BPS-21 on regular basis.

The promoted officers include Mohammad Abid Majeed, secretary forestry, environment and wildlife department; Asghar Ali, director Staff Training Institute Peshawar; Mohammad Akbar Khan, director general Pakistan Forest Institute; and Mohammad Ramzan, managing director Merged Areas Education Foundation.

The notification said officers would remain on probation for a year as per section 6(2) of the KP Civil Servants Act, 1973, read with rule 15(1) of the KP Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1989.
